Who is Viktoria Blantz?
My name is Viktoria Blantz. I am a qualified and certified Personal Trainer and Pre & Post Natal Specialist. I set up Zest Personal Training (for Women) in 2011.
I am originally from Sweden and have lived in London for over 20 years. I was brought up in a family who loved the outdoors; sailing in the summers and skiing every winter, so keeping active and being outdoors come second nature to me!
I have always enjoyed sports, especially running and to date have completed five marathons and several shorter races.
I live and work in Crouch End, north London and am a mother of two children. During both my pregnancies I put on a lot of weight and know only too well how difficult it can be to fit in any 'me time' whilst looking after a baby or young children. After I had my second child in 2009 I decided it was time to do a complete overhaul of my exercise and eating habits in order to feel fitter, stronger, more energised and happier. I realised that a 'quick fix' diet was not for me, I wanted to find a new way of life and to feel in the best shape ever. I therefore started to incorporate more strength and core exercises into my training routine and followed a well balanced eating plan. I swapped my usual 1 hr run to shorter interval or fartlek training to improve my strength and speed.
As a result I lost nearly 3 stone in weight in one year!
I decided to become a Personal Trainer in 2011 after 15 years working for one of the UKs largest retail banks. I feel that with my wealth of experience I can help and support women in simliar circumstances.
I am passionate, dedicated and ambitious about exercise and nutrition. For me it's not just about looking good, it is about feeling great, strong, fit, healthy and more confident in yourself.
I focus on the foundations of good fitness and wellbeing by offering functional and 'back to basics' training and a common sense approach to nutrition. I don't offer a 'quick fix' solution, but a solid platform for a new way of life! I am very determined and professional and work closely with my clients to set personal, realistic and achievable goals.
My Qualifications / Skills
Diploma in Personal Training (REPs level 3) with Premier International (including NASM)
Certificate in Pre and Post Natal Exercise (Premier International)
Qualified First Aider (adults, children and babies)
